Para evitar cualquier fraude via telefonica les hago una serie de recomendaciones: * Si tienen contestadora, no grabar sus nombres. * Si reciben cualquier llamada, no dejen que conteste menores de edad ya que son francos faciles de extraer informacion. * Si reciben cualquier llamada, la primera pregunta que deben realizar es ¿quien habla? si no contestan a esa pregunta, enseguida deben de colgar ya que estan en la espera de escuchar algun nombre o dato que puedan utilizar. Machine called, using spoofed caller ID, playing a pre-recorded message about lowering my credit card rates, and the usual "Press 1 to speak to a live operator and lower your rates now." I get several of these calls a week, and I'm on the DNCL. I always press 1 and ask to be put on their do not call list. The usually acknowledge my request with a hangup. This time, the conversation went like this: Scammer: "Card Financial Services (or something similar, mumbled quickly), this is (mumbled her name quickly) speaking. Can I help you?" Me: "Are you going to hang up on me?" Scammer: "You betcha!" <click!> It's unfathomable. I really wonder why they bother to call, other than to harass and annoy people?

I would like to know how they got my number?!?! Never filled anything out so how did they get it?!?! I wish they would just leave me alone!!!!

Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to remote connect to my wifes computer because it was sending out a virus. She told them to go away, but they would not hang up the phone Reports indicate that if you give them access, they will install sniffer software to access your passwords and banking information.

Don't know but they keep calling and I keep not answering and then when I called the number it says it doesn't exist what in the world.

they call and dont leave message, i call back and it says my call is being transferred for about 2 min. then message comes up saying to leave a message. never states company name or anything

The woman could not pronounce my name correctly which meant that the call was unsolicited. People that I am in contact with know how to pronounce my name correctly. received this call at 8:31pm
